Project description

The IGOS Project – “Quality Work Settings for All” is a European Project under the Leonardo Da Vinci-Life-long Learning Program (LLP) comprised of an interest group of professionals and their organizations, working together in the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET) and representing a broad number of EU countries (Ireland, Germany, Belgium, France, Greece, Czech Republic, Italy, Austria, Portugal).

The aim of the project was the development of common frameworks and tools to enhance the future of individuals with disabilities, in order to improve their competitiveness and skills, and to increase their knowledge and competencies for transition and entry to the labour market.

 

The objectives of this partnership are:

  • To Initiate and promote common links and networks, between VET professionals, their organisations, and between EU member states and accession countries, specific to education and training for work programmes.
  • To strengthen cooperation on work related common themes, practices and systems within the EU.
  • To contrast, compare and share common values, and approaches to work related service delivery within the disability sector.
  • To be better able to meet emerging needs and challenges within the VET disability sector.
  • To progress and enhance the quality of VET systems and practices within the EU.
