BPT was created in 1992 and is based in Prague. It provides education, work training and employment and promotes the integration of disabled people from 18-60 years of age into society. The company has a training shop, a café, a ceramic workshop and a gothic glass workshop. It educates in computer skills, English, commercial activities and craftwork. The main goal has been to open and secure the working place for people to work independently. People with disabilities should be able to produce and sell their products, to keep a high profile and to regain their place in society. Our work is based on strong partnerships with other employers, social service providers and state authorities as well. BPT has already prepared a number of workshops with all the bodies interested in the employment of people with disabilities. BPT is a member of an informal platform of stakeholders interested in lobbying towards employment of people with disabilities.
